Editorial Pattern Studio puts mathematical curves inside an authored poster system. Twelve equations share controls for symmetry, resonance, coupling, phase, and warp. The template supplies the relationship between the pattern, typography, rules, and supporting copy.
The Shuffle action operates on that whole composition. It selects a different template and equation, varies their parameters, and generates coordinated colors. With Preserve colors enabled, successive shuffles keep the background, line palette, text inks, and rule color fixed while exploring new compositions.
Color can change along a single curve. The renderer divides the sampled path into adjoining segments, interpolating their endpoints so the line stays connected. Segment size controls the length of each color run; color spread controls how often the palette changes; randomness disturbs both the lengths and assignments. The equation can remain fixed while the colored sections emphasize different parts of its structure.
The generated palette accounts for the surrounding type. Headline and detail colors are adjusted against the background to reach a 7:1 contrast target; rules use a lower target. The generator shifts lightness and can fall back to black or white when necessary. That gives Shuffle room to change the poster's colors while keeping its small editorial content visible.
